EmailJoin us for a relaxed, hands-on 2-hour workshop where you will learn how to create your own unique toy wreath to decorate your home with a touch of quirky charm. You will be guided through the process step by step using hot glue to attach a variety of preloved toys and trinkets to your wreath base. Don't worry if you're a complete beginner – this class is designed to be relaxing and accessible to everyone.
It can be really fun to immerse yourself in a creative activity like making a wreath. The nostalgia of the toys and the satisfaction of crafting something totally unique with your own hands will leave you feeling inspired. At the end of the workshop, you'll take your wreath home, all safe in a sturdy box, ready to be displayed on your front door. No previous experience is required, making this a great opportunity to enjoy trying a new creative process in a friendly and supportive environment.
Please wear old clothes. You will be using a hot glue gun and the glue is really hard to get out of fabric. All materials are provided but feel free to bring any small lightweight items to add to your wreath.

On the day
Meet outside 12 Hillgrove Street BS2 8JT. Someone will let you in at the start time. Please wear old clothes. The studio is on the first floor of the building. It's an old building and there is no lift. On street pay & display parking is available. Bus stops on Stokes Croft & Cheltenham Road are a 5 minute walk, the Bristol Bus Station is 7 minutes, and Montpelier train station is 12 minutes away.

Lisa Travers
Lisa is a Bristol based multimedia artist who works in collage, cyanotype, print and assemblage. Based at PRSC in Stokes Croft, Lisa has a love of using unwanted and discarded items and images that more often than not go overlooked. Lisa has exhibited all over the UK and has made work for various organisations such as Glastonbury Festival, Bestival, The Invisible Circus and Wake The Tiger. She recently won a place in the VAA Art100 International, an award recognising 100 international emerging artists to look out for.
