You’ll discover the basics of screen printing techniques, how to cut your own paper stencils, and how to layer different colours and shapes to create stunning prints. You’ll also get to experiment with monoprinting tricks and add some extra flair to your artworks.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a number of gorgeous screen prints on good paper that you can frame, gift or display. You’ll also have some ‘strike off’ prints on newsprint that you can use as unique wrapping paper for your loved ones. You’ll be amazed by what you can create with paper, ink, and a bit of imagination!

On the day
Ink travels, so please wear old clothes and bring an apron. The studio is on a residential street, parking can be tricky, but not impossible. The Gloucester Road is very nearby with excellent bus routes across the city. The course timing is 3 hours, please arrive in time to drop your bag and coat.
