Create a Plant Terrarium at Windmill Hill Farm

We had SO much fun making our terrarium, our lovely host was so knowledgeable, took their time explaining things but kept it fun and engaging at all times. The location was perfect to grab a coffee and some cake too!

My friend and I enjoyed making our terrariums. It would have been great to see a few ready made examples and also have a little more one to one help. Other than that it was fun to get our hands dirty and walk away with a finished product. We would recommend it to others.

Sharon is a fab host, it is obvious that she is very knowledgeable about plants and is super encouraging when you explain your idea she immediately is on board and super helpful without being over bearing. My mum and I had a great time creating a terrarium at Fancy Plants. The host Sharon was great and gave us lots of ideas. There were lots of plants to choose from and cute little plastic frogs and mushrooms.

My partner and I really enjoyed the experience. We learnt a lot about terrariums from the workshop and loved being able to take away our own built terrarium at the end. We had such a good time that we've already talked about coming back to build another!

Me and my boyfriend came to the workshop after visiting the store. The workshop was amazing, Sharon who ran it was really knowledgeable and patient with everyone. We had access to so many resources- different plants, rocks, shells, moss etc so everyone’s terrarium looked unique. We would really recommend it, the value for money was great (we did a small terrarium each). Great fun!

A lovely couple of hours

I got this as a birthday gift for my Mum and it was fab! I am so happy with my terrarium! It was so fun to make and the staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. There were lots of different plants/materials to use so you can really individualise your terrarium!

So fun! Everyone made such different terrariums, but we were all fully supported by Sharon, thanks Sharon :)

The best morning ever!!! We were given a beautiful large vase and so many options for how to fill it. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. My boyfriend came with me and I think it might have converted him to being a plant lover too 🤞

A relaxing and fun workshop

Great time making a terrarium with my dad and partner. They allowed me and my partner to make a terrarium together for £5 extra. Our host full of knowledge, super friendly and warm. The options for plants was varied and lots of materials to pick from. Highly recommend

Such a fun morning and we are so happy with our very own unique terrariums that we took home! Sharon was lovely, the session was fun and clear and there was an absolute abundance of choice and plants - you certainly get your pennies worth in beautiful plants and mosses (and stones!) varieties!

The terrarium workshop was a wonderful way to spend an evening. Sharon took us through every step and made sure we were all doing things correctly so that our terrariums all ended up as they should. I'd definitely recommend this as an activity for solos, couples, friends and families. I love how my terrarium looks (even though I had my doubts midway through!)

I booked this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. We had such a fun time getting creative with plants, and learned a lot in the process. We're super happy with our terrariums and will certainly book again.
