In this hands-on workshop at BOX, Brindley Place, you’ll create your very own autumn flower arrangement inside a real pumpkin, perfect for decorating your home, table or doorstep in time for Halloween.
Guided step-by-step by Ashley from Ash Tree Floral Designs, you’ll learn how to arrange a beautiful mix of seasonal flowers, foliage and autumn textures using sustainable floristry techniques.
No experience is needed and all materials are provided, so you can simply turn up, get creative and enjoy a relaxed evening of flower arranging.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your finished pumpkin arrangement, ready to bring a bit of autumn magic to your home.

Ash Tree Floral Designs is a quirky wedding and events floristry business. It's based at Old Print Works in Birmingham.
Owner Ashley's background is in art and design. This means Ashley is always searching for something visually striking and unique. She's in love with flowers and finds nature infinitely inspiring. Her styling is a little wild yet beautiful and contemporary.
Ashley creates her bold designs using a combination of British flowers, high quality imported flowers from Holland, and a selection of homegrown blooms. Ashley works closely with a local flower grower - this has made her appreciate how special British flowers are and fuelled a passion for sustainable floristry. Her goal is to always promote British seasonal flowers wherever possible.
Alongside her wedding floral work, Ashley regularly runs seasonal flower-arranging workshops around Birmingham. Her workshops are relaxed, fun and creative. They're always filled with lots of handy tips and tricks to help guests create beautiful floral designs to take home and enjoy.
Ashley's floristry workshops make lovely gifts and are a perfect hen party or birthday party idea. After all, floristry workshops aren’t just about learning a new skill. Arranging flowers is also extremely calming and therapeutic. Scientific studies suggest that just looking at flowers instantly lifts your mood and improves your mental health - so what’s not to love?!

Ashley is a qualified florist and the founder of Ash Tree Floral Designs. She works from her studio at the Old Print Works in Birmingham. Ashley is Midland's born and bred. She currently lives in Kings Heath with her husband Evan and her cat Peggy.
