Cosy Christmas Card Writing Group

The holiday season is a whirlwind, and often, the "thank yous" and "thinking of you" notes get buried under the December rush. If you're the sort of person staring at a pile of blank cards - or end up feeling that low-level guilt about the cards you haven’t sent again— this session is for you.

Yes, there will be Christmas music, mince pies and mulled apple cider (non-alcoholic) to keep you going. Plus our session is time to co-incide with Willway Yards' late night Christmas shoppin, so you can pick up a few pressies from your local indies too.

Join us for a dedicated, low-pressure hour and a half of body doubling, designed to help you finally tick that task off your list in a space that feels like a retreat, not a chore.

Why join Us?

This isn’t a formal workshop or a lecture. It’s a cosy "parallel play" environment. We provide the structure and the supplies (inlcuding tea/ coffe and treats); you provide the presence.

It’s particularly helpful for:

• The "To-Do" Procrastinators: Those who have the cards but can’t find the "right time" to start.

• The ADHD Community: If you struggle with task initiation, the "body doubling" effect (working alongside others) provides the natural focus you need to stay on track.

• Busy People: Anyone who wants to reclaim their mental space by finishing one specific, meaningful task.

The atmosphere

Forget sterile offices or noisy cafes. We’ve curated a cosy, relaxed, and quiet environment. Think soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a shared sense of calm productivity. It’s a "phone-away" zone where you can lean into the slow art of handwriting. Please note our friendly shop-dog Colin will be there for tickles if you need a break.

Just bring your address list. We take care of the rest so there are zero barriers to finishing:

• Beautiful Stationery: A selection of cards and quality paper (but please fell free to bring your own)

• Smooth Pens: Because the right pen makes all the difference.

• Postage Included: We provide 2nd class stamps for your mail.

• The Final Step: No more cards rolling around your car for weeks - I will take all letters to the post box for you at the end of the session.
