At AFTERMIRTH, your hosts believe that laughter and leisure shouldn’t end with parenthood. That’s why they've curated a series of great venues for you to enjoy a daytime escape into the world of comedy.
AFTERMIRTH redefines midweek leisure, offering a refreshing twist to your Wednesday afternoons: think of it as the new Saturday night. Join in for a session of mirth and merriment featuring four top-tier comedians, where the only tears will be from laughter, and baby’s giggles are part of the chorus.
What to expect:
- An afternoon filled with laughter featuring four great comedians.
- Designed for parents to relax with a drink (even a beer) while babies are welcome to be themselves.
- Events are held on Wednesday afternoons
- A fun-filled 90-minute show, perfect before heading home for nap time.
- Doors open at 10:30 am for a pre-show drink; the show begins at 11 am.
- Tickets at £5 per adult (babies enter free), with an option for £8 to include tea and cake or a glass of prosecco.

- The show starts at 11am
- There is parking outside Filwood Community Centre on Barnstaple Road, or the surrounding roads. You can also park in our car park, accessed via Marwood Road
