Molly Mural welcomes you to the colourful craft fun of 'Collage to Frame'! Create a modern art masterpiece that will look stunning in your home.
In this workshop, you will revel in the joys of play and creation as you use a range of papers, found materials, and magazines to create framed collage artworks. Bring your maximalist vision to life and extend your artwork from page to frame using Posca pens to add finishing touches to your frame.
Your host Molly will guide you through the creative process, offering inspiration from paper-cutting artists such as Matisse, helping you to weave concepts and themes into your design. You will also be shown how typography can help you share your message and be proud of the pieces you create!
Collage is a very meditative activity, and full of the unknown! This is a fun, creative, and very relaxing workshop.
The final outcome will be a gloriously framed, completed A4 collage masterpiece, complete with a painted decorative frame!
The workshop is hosted in Molly Mural's iconic artist studio in Easton, Bristol.
