Step into the lush world of miniature ecosystems with our Closed Terrarium Workshop - a calming, creative session that brings the magic of the natural world into a glass jar.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to build your own self-sustaining terrarium from scratch. We’ll guide you through layering substrates for drainage, choosing the right plants for a closed environment, and how to design a little landscape that will thrive with minimal care. You’ll get to work with beautiful materials including lush mosses, humidity-loving plants, decorative stones, and high-quality glassware.
Whether you're a seasoned plant lover or a complete beginner, this experience is all about slowing down, getting your hands dirty, and walking away with something truly special. You'll leave with your own unique closed terrarium, along with all the knowledge you need to keep it thriving.
What makes our workshop extra special? It's held right in the heart of Plant Studio - surrounded by leafy inspiration, supported by our friendly, passionate team, and fuelled by a deep love for making plant care accessible and joyful.
As a thank you, all workshop attendees receive 10% off any in-store purchases on the day - perfect if you spot another plant you fall in love with.
Perfect for a thoughtful gift, a relaxing solo activity, or something creative to do with a friend.
If you’d like to bring your own glass vessel for the workshop, we’re happy to accommodate! Please make sure it’s thoroughly cleaned and empty before the session. To ensure it’s suitable for planting and fits our materials, your vessel must be no wider than 20cm.
