It’s always very welcoming and relaxed and a thoroughly nice way to spend an evening. Making whatever you fancy among other friendly souls doing the same. Alive the owner is great and Rebecca who hosts many if the sessions is also very helpful and friendly

Trylla is a great space to make ideas and also play, a calming and creative afternoon

Good session and materials, just be aware there is a 3 week wait for getting items fired.

I've been coming to clay club every couple months for a year now, and it's one of the best studio spaces I've ever worked in. The atmosphere is warm colorful and creative, the music is always boppin, and everyone running the session is always incredibly helpful.
It's good for both people who want to squash clay around like it's play-doh, and for people wanting to come and throw a full dinner set.

It was really fun. I went with a friend and we had a great time and all the other people there were also incredibly friendly and sweet. Can’t wait to go again and glaze my pottery.

I really enjoy my clay sessions at Trylla due to the relaxed atmosphere and large variety of equipment available. I will be back!

I have been attending clay club for 6 months and really enjoy it. You can use unlimited clay and have a good amount of time (up to 2.5 hrs) and there is also useful guidance in the booklet provided or you can ask questions if you need help. It is a great chance to relax and get lost in either making something or glazing your items. I live quite a way south of Bristol but am very happy I found Trylla clay club and would recommend it to beginners or experienced clay artists!

Everything was spot on, great host, nice environment, self directed but help when you needed it, everything you could need provided!

It was a very relaxed vibe and you're free to get creative and do whatever you want. My only suggestion would be to offer a little more guidance to first time potters. Honestly loved it. Thank you so much.

I regularly attend the pottery sessions at Trylla as I think they're excellent value for money and I like the fact I have the freedom to make whatever I choose. They is a wide range of different tools and glazes to experiment with, and help if you need it. Highly recommended experience.

I had so much fun! It was my first time trying pottery and I would definitely recommend it :) I look forward to joining your workshop again. I would love to paint the vase I created but I did not find an available class until the 22nd of June :(

clay club is amazing! I've been going for months now, and I feel so free and full of ideas. I love the fact that you just go and do your thing, Rebecca is always there you assist you, there are always enough materials and somehow she remembers the things I did last the previous class! 10/10 would recommend, specially to newbies like me!!

It was so great! My boyfriend and I loved it- it was really lovely to be able to make whatever we wanted, and 1kg of clay is more than enough to last you 2.5 hours. Amazing!

Super fun and relaxed, really enjoyed the session and will deffo be back

I like that it was informal and I was able to take it at my own pace. There was good music playing quietly and an abundance of materials to explore. And I even got to keep my unused clay to practice at home.

Had a really lovely chill time and got to try out the pottery wheel (unguided) which was great fun even though I wasn't good at it. Will definitely have to book in again and have a go at the wheel!

Went with my sister and had a lot of fun! You get to choose the type of clay to work with and have space to make whatever you want! There were couples, groups of friends, and people on their own attending; most people/groups are welcome!
We've booked in for our next session where we'll be painting and glazing our creations - very excited!

So much fun! Just what I needed after a stressful week - clear instruction provided and support is on hand of you need it but otherwise you’re left to just play with the clay and make want you want . Excited to go back and paint my creations ! Thanks!

Great experience

Great selection of clay and tools, and Alice and the other staff member were very helpful and lovely to chat to. We are excited to go back to glaze our creations, fingers crossed they survive the kiln!

Went in for a second session to paint the clay from 2 weeks ago. So many different coloured glazes to choose from, and Alice is always super helpful whenever you have a question. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxed creative afternoon!

We loved our time at Trylla! Booked a clay club session with friends to dust away the lockdown cobwebs, and do something a little creative. As a group of novices, Alice was incredibly helpful at pointing us in the right direction to get things started, and learn our way around the workshop. A lighthearted, entertaining evening, although we were totally absorbed for the whole 2.5 hours. Cant’ wait to glaze
