Clay Club - Make Your Own Ceramic Milk Jug

Ready to get creative with clay? Join us for Clay Club, our monthly pottery workshop at the cosy and colourful Crafters Corner in Bath. This month, we’re guiding you through the process of hand-building your very own ceramic milk jug—perfect for cream, sauces, syrup, or anything else you fancy!

Led by our Chief Creative, Becky, you’ll be guided step-by-step using a slab-building technique. From shaping and assembling the jug’s form to decorating and colouring your creation, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make your piece truly unique. Whether you go for sleek and simple or bold and colourful, the design is completely up to you.

There’ll be bottomless tea and coffee, plenty of encouragement, and lots of time to play, create and connect with fellow makers.

What you’ll learn:

• Slab-building techniques for functional pottery
• How to shape, attach, and finish clay components
• Creative decoration techniques and surface design
• Painting with underglazes or selecting studio glazes
• Tips for creating unique and practical ceramic pieces
