Christmas Clay Club - Make a Christmas Tree

Welcome to our festive clay club at Crafters Corner.

Want to give have a go at hand building? Come and join us in our beautiful crafters corner space and learn how to make a Christmas tree, with cut outs to let light shine through!

Chief creative Becky will walk you through the building process, and the rest of the team will ensure you have a nice cup of tea or coffee to enjoy throughout the session. You will be using a slab building technique for this build… then shaping, cutting and painting your piece!

After your piece is made, next comes decoration. Choose to either:

• Use one of our beautiful all over glazes, this is applied after a bisque firing by one of our team
• OR
• Come back into our pottery area (after an initial bisque firing) and paint your piece using our coloured underglazes at a later date.
