Yuup | Christmas Calligraphy Workshop

An introduction to the art of calligraphy, sprinkled with some festive spirit!

During this creative calligraphy workshop you will learn the fundamentals of lettering using marker pens, metal nibs and guills!

What to expect:

Learn the basic elements of design and writing with a broad-edged/chisel pen.
Calligraphy marker pens will be used initially before you try your hand at metal nibs and maybe even a quill!
You will be using Indian ink and gouache paint to create your festive lettering.

Different festive ideas will be shared and explored in this small group and everyone will be supported throughout. This workshop is beginner-friendly and no previous experience is required.

Alison developed an interest in calligraphy at a very young age. While largely self-taught, she has benefited from incredible personal tutoring from world-renowned calligraphers along the way. Alison's passion only continues to grow and aims for her workshops to inspire guests just the same.
