Using simple tools you will create symmetrical patterns, accordion-fold designs, and traditional window patterns inspired by natural elements such as trees, leaves, snowflakes, flowers, and birds. Come along to our studio and learn this tradition folk art and go home with a beautiful finished piece for your home.
Learn about the history of Chinese paper-cutting and essential tools, after which you'll be taught technical exercises and how to apply those techniques to plan a preliminary sketch and create a unique paper-cutting artwork celebrating the natural world.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those looking to refine their skills, all materials and tool are included. The class is also suitable for children from 12 years old, who will be provided with child-friendly tools.
