Hand-build a Unique Ceramic Soap Dish

If you're a fan of ceramics, you've probably got a range of plant pots and other clay creations dotted around your house. Now's your chance to add something a little different: a soap dish.

Join Wild Clay Studios in Bristol, where you’ll learn how to hand-build a ceramic soap dish using clay, paint and glaze. It’s a great way to express your creativity and add a personal touch to your bathroom.

In this workshop you will:

• Sketch your ideas and designs for your soap dish. You can be as creative as you like!
• Learn different processes of making with clay, such as pinching, coiling and slabbing
• Sculpt and build your soap dish with guidance from an experienced instructor
• Paint and decorate your soap dish with your choice of colours and patterns
• Leave your soap dish to be fired and glazed, giving it a glossy finish and making it durable
• Collect your soap dish after 4 - 6 weeks, or have it delivered to you for a small fee

This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over, from beginners to intermediate levels. You don’t need any previous experience with clay, just a willingness to have fun and learn something new. All materials and tools are provided, so you just need to bring yourself and your imagination.
