EmailDuring this pottery workshop, you will learn how to produce your own unique, organic slab-built stoneware breakfast set. Choose to produce a plate and breakfast bowl, a two bowl or plate set, a berry bowl and pinched jug, or any other combination of these you think you will get the most use out of!
Perfect for beginners, you will be guided through various techniques to produce your own stunning designs.
You will be working with high-quality speckled stoneware, a beautiful and durable clay that produces a functional homeware breakfast set.
What to expect:
- A 3-hour pottery workshop
- Learn slab-building techniques to handbuild stoneware
- Make a ceramic breakfast set
- All tools and materials provided
Group sizes are always small and you will receive as much one-to-one guidance as necessary throughout the session. This is a perfect opportunity to explore your creative side in a relaxing, comfortable and calm environment.
Your pieces will be ready to collect 4-6 weeks after the workshop, giving enough time to dry the clay before it is fired, glazed and finished.

I ask that anyone attending my classes adheres to the current government guidelines on covid-19 . If you are unwell, have any symptoms of coronavirus or have come into contact with someone who has developed symptoms please stay home and notify me via email.
On the day
- Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
- The workshop will take place in the host's converted garage, an exact address will be sent to you closer to the date

Danielle Harper is the maker behind Willow Bloo Ceramics. She lovingly handmakes ceramics from her studio space in Bristol.
Each piece is built carefully by hand or cast from a handmade mould, often experimenting with surface texture, partial smooth glazing, rough raw clay, carved, stamped and painted clay.
