Pottery and Bubbles!

Join us at Terra Studio for our BYOB handbuilding pottery night. Bring your favourite beverage and let the creative juices flow as we embark on a pottery adventure. Sip, sculpt, and savour the experience! During the evening you’ll have the chance to create a masterpiece of your own choosing! Whether it's a functional piece like a pot, mug, vase, or jug, or something more eclectic like a hanging plant pot, tea light holder, or even a salt pig, the choice is yours.

Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring that your vision comes to life in a form that's uniquely yours. Come solo or with friends, and let the artistic adventure begin! No prior experience needed; this course is all about letting loose and discovering the artist within. Our studio is transformed into a haven of laughter and inspiration, where you can share stories, connect with friends old and new, and craft your own unique pieces. Whether you come solo or with friends, this BYOB hand-built pottery night promises to be an unforgettable blend of fun, laughter, and artistic expression. Aprons will be provided Please bring a bottle, old clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Please have trimmed nails.

Collections, Cancellations and Refunds:

You can come collect your pots after 6 weeks; collections are every Wednesday 4-8pm. Give us an email if you can’t make it during that time. Please note, we only hold on to your pots 3 months maximum after the 6 week period.

We can also arrange for your pots to be posted to you for a fee starting at £6.50. Please email us at terrastudiobristol@gmail.com with your address, photo of your pot and the date and name of the course you attended.

We have a 14 day cancellation period - we do not do refunds or re-schedule within 14 days prior to your course.

Participants must be over the age of 18.

COVID-19 guidelines

  • Your host's priority is to keep their customers and members safe. They ask that everyone attending any of our classes adheres to the current government guidelines
  • If you are unwell or have any symptoms of coronavirus, or have come into contact with anyone who has developed symptoms - please stay home and notify Terra Studio immediately

On the day

  • Use of equipment, clay & firing of one final item made during the class inc. (additional firing available at £5 per piece)
  • Please bring a bottle, old clothes, an apron and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Please have trimmed nails
  • Your host can be tricky to find, as they're tucked away. Terra Studio is on the left-hand side of the driveway, next to My Awareness Yoga Studio. The easiest way to find them is Google Maps (spot the building with a red graffiti mural, you've found them)

Change of plans? You can easily rebook the next available slot up to 14 days before your experience.
How to get a refund
Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 14 days before your experience.
Please note that this refund policy does not apply to gift bookings. You may reschedule your gift if outside the time period stated above. However, all gifts are non-refundable and expire exactly 1 year after the date of purchase.

Gaby Connell

Gabrielle Connell is the maker behind Goob Design. After first finding her love of clay working at North Street Potters in London, Gabrielle went on to graduate from the University of Falmouth where she studied Contemporary Crafts. Gaby works predominately with stoneware creating functional tableware. As well as making her own creations and teaching at Terra Studio and is passionate about creating sustainable pottery.
