Join me for a fun and creative workshop using fresh and dried plants, fabric and letter stamps to create personal pieces of pottery.
Feel free to bring your own plant cuttings to make your pottery even more personal.
You'll be making 4 flat pieces of pottery, decorative hangings, coasters or tiles and also a trinket dish.
After a small break for refreshments, you'll then glaze a trinket dish that I've already made, so you get to experience the whole process.
After the workshop, I'll dry, fire and glaze your pieces of pottery to your colour specifications and it will be ready to collect 3 weeks later.
I've recently moved studios and my studio is now based at Tithe Barn, behind Moulsecoomb Place. I'm very excited to offer and add on to my usual workshop. If you'd like to return approximately 2 weeks later to glaze your own pottery, we can arrange a suitable day and time at an extra cost. People often say they'd love to be able to paint their own pieces, as the painting is just as theraputic as the making.

Reaching Moulscoomb Place by bus or train is advisable as there isn't allocated parking but you could try parking by Moulscoomb train Station but there's only a few spaces. If you make your way to the front of the big house ( Moulscoomb Place ) I'll have the door open to the space we are using. The clay we use is a white clay, it can be a bit powdery and leave white dust on your clothes.
I host fun and creative pottery workshops, using dried and fresh plants, fabrics and letter stamps pressed into the clay, to achieve some amazing results. We make a variety of flat pieces, such as coasters, tiles, hanging decorations and also a trinket dish
