Come and learn some of the fundamental skills of bookbinding at our studio in Bristol and create up to two beautiful handmade notebooks with professional bookbinder Josh James.
Folding slitting paper, pricking sewing holes, sewing and understanding how to work sensitively with different types of paper and bookbinding tools are core to successfully making beautiful books, and making an A5 notebook with decorative paper covers is a great way to start any bookbinding journey!
By the end of the workshop you'll have made 1-2 single-section pamphlets and a set of skills they can apply to future bookbinding projects.
