EmailTailor your own personalised pottery experience with Pottymouth Workshop! Celebrate a birthday, organise a work party, or put a ceramic twist on a hen/stag do! These private pottery parties can accommodate up to 40 people to get stuck into some clay!
These pottery workshops teach hand-built pottery (so no need for a pottery wheel), and you can make anything from mugs, bowls or vases to butter dishes, jugs, pet bowls and more. If you have something specific in mind, your hosts always welcome fresh ideas!
With workshop capacity up to 40 people, this is the perfect way to get creative with your co-workers, friends, or family to handcraft a souvenir you can cherish for years to come. A unique and personal way to celebrate a birthday, wedding, milestone celebration, or just a good excuse to get all your loved ones together!
What to expect:
- Your hosts will give a demonstration and explain the different pottery techniques
- Throughout the session you will get one-to-one support
- Access to a variety of tools and paints for bespoke designs, colours and textures
- Your final pieces will be fired and glazed and you'll be contacted when they are ready
The list of available dates is tentative please contact your host to discuss possible dates, times and locations. If you do not have an appropriate venue to host at (home or air bnb for example) you will be provided with a venue.

How to get there
This experience will take place at a location that you arrange and agree with your host.
Host instructions:
We may ask to see photos of your home space in advance to ensure it would be suitable. We can also discuss venue hire with you if you prefer.
On the day
- Although aprons are provided, we'd recommend wearing something you don't mind getting mucky!
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your the start of the session so we can get going promptly.
- Feel free to bring some drinks with you but please note (no glasses are provided) so bring your own or bottled beverages. There is no recycling on the premises so please take your packaging away with you.

Meredith Mason (She/Her)
Meredith studied Artist Designer:Maker at Cardiff Met and works more sculpturally, often experimenting with surface textures and forms that push the boundaries of traditional ceramics.
Naomi Stokes (She/Her)
Naomi studied Fine Art at UWE and has a background in throwing functional, wheel-thrown vessels—mugs, bowls, jugs—the kind of things you live with every day.
