Body Positive Life Drawing for Teens

On the last Sunday of the month Our Creative Community is hosting a series of unique events in collaboration with The Royal Photographic Society. They both believe this unique experience provides a healthy and alternative view to the edited images of bodies we see every day in the media.

This workshop will help teens appreciate their originality and quirks while involving them in the more fun and expressive side of art, that's not usually available to younger creatives.

The session will be led by an experienced tutor, Kate, who is a passionate teacher with over a decade of teaching experience and has led life drawing classes within many prominent institutions including Badminton School.

What to expect: - A 90-minute life drawing workshop for teens with a DBS-checked model - Your nude model will make several poses for your group to draw from - All equipment will be provided - Attendees are welcome to bring along any additional equipment they wish - Suitable for ages 12+. Attendees aged 12 will be required to bring a parent/carer with them for the duration of the session
- All attendees under 18 will be required to have a parent/carer complete a consent form beforehand - All other parents/carers are free to join should they wish, but this is not required - The RPS is offering discounted coffee from their in house coffee shop to all attendees, parents and carers.

Workshop dates:

Sunday 24 September 2023, 1 - 2:30pm Sunday 29 October, 1 - 2:30pm Sunday 26 November, 1 - 2:30pm Sunday 17 December, 1 - 2:30
