EmailA fun, creative and very relaxing workshop on the basics of calligraphy. Using a selection of coloured calligraphy marker pens, you will be guided through the process of producing a calligraphic letter.
No experience is required to attend this workshop, as guidance will be on hand throughout by your host Alison, who is an professional calligrapher. Every person will write differently and there is no wrong way, simply come along and discover your own unique style! A mid-week treat for the the soul in this small group session.

Alison developed an interest in calligraphy at a very young age. While largely self-taught, she has benefited from incredible personal tutoring from world-renowned calligraphers along the way. Alison's passion only continues to grow and aims for her workshops to inspire guests just the same.
When technology fails - a hand holding a writing implement will always deliver. There is always something to write about. Something designed and produced entirely by hand is so unique - the beauty of this delicate craft is no two hands will ever produce the same thing.
For anyone thinking calligraphy is not for them, they can't do it or they're not artistic - think again. Calligraphy can be learned at almost any age - Alison's on a mission to prove this.
