Beginner's Modern Calligraphy at Flourish

Loved it, Fran was very engaging and explained everything really well

The experience was really enjoyable and we learnt a lot. Fran was really good at going round helping people and making sure you were doing it right so as you got the best result. The amount of materials you were given to take home was impressive. The only criticism I would make and this wasn’t Fran fault and you could see she was conscious of it was how cold it was in the venue they did provide a little fan heater which really didn’t make much difference. We were sat for two and half hours.

I absolutely loved this modern calligraphy workshop! Fran was a wonderful host and was great at guiding us through the various shapes, letters and then words. She provided a great pack of information sheets about materials and lots of paper and guide lines to continue practising at home. Thanks so much for having us!

This was a really good workshop introduction to calligraphy. Fran was great, really friendly and approachable. She took time to take us through the appropriate steps and was always happy to help where needed. The resources provided were spot on and it was nice to be given a kit to take away to continue practicing at home.

Really enjoyed this workshop. I'd definitely book another with Hunter Gatherings. The host was fantastic and took us through everything step by step as well as offering personalised guidance where needed/wanted. I feel I've come away with a new skill, albeit that'll take some more time and practise to master, as well as gaining the tools to practise this skill. The host gave us goody bags so we had the basic equipment to practise at home and beautiful handcrafted guidance created by the host.
