Have you got a camera but don't know how to use it on manual? If you want to learn how to master the manual settings; aperture, shutter speed and ISO, then this session is for you. We will explore the exposure triangle, with time spent hands on with each element, so you can feel confident moving forwards without using auto settings.
Throughout the session, we will also discuss and look at composition, what can make an eye catching image, and how you can use your camera to create beautiful photos.
These sessions are flexible and relaxed, run by Charlotte; an experienced award winning photographer, with several years of teaching photography groups in Bristol too. Ideally you already have your own camera (not a mobile) that you can use and practice on, but it may be possible to borrow one.
These beginner sessions run in small groups of max 5 people (minimum 2), so that everyone has enough 1:1 time, but if you are a large group interested in booking, get in touch and it may be possible to arrange with a second teacher or extended session.
Age restrictions: 18+
| Adult (18+) | £60 |
| Group Ticket (5 adults) | £250 |
You should wear comfortable clothing as we will walk around the city exploring different locations. You may want to bring refreshments. Digital camera (not mobile) is also required.
An award winning photographer with over 10 years experience across various genres from documentary, wildlife and weddings. I love to inspire and help others find their creative flow through image making. For complete beginners, I can help you learn the basics of photography with mastering manual settings in a city centre session.
