Spring Wellbeing Workshop: Herbs & Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy and herbalism are two holistic practices that can work wonders for our wellbeing. Want to discover how they work their magic? Uncover a fantastic world of herbal remedies? AmberLuna Apothecary will show you how.

In this workshop, learn about these practices and make your own herbal and aromatherapy products to take home. Products will be tailored to participants' needs, with AmberLuna Apothecary helping you to create the right remedy for you.

First things first, back to basics!

What’s aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the practice of using aromatic plant extracts such as essential oils, aromatic waters and therapeutic oils to improve our wellbeing. This could be through massage, skincare products or using diffusers. Aromatherapy works on a physical and emotional level and is considered a branch of herbalism.

What’s herbalism?

Herbalism is the wider practice of using herbs internally and externally to promote health and prevent disease. It has been used by eastern and western cultures worldwide for thousands of years. Herbalism's focus is to treat the cause of the illness holistically, and not simply focus on treating the symptoms.

What to expect

  • Get an introduction to aromatherapy and herbalism
  • Discover how to support your mind, body and immune system by creating bespoke herbal and aromatherapy blends
