EmailA drinks-tasting boat voyage along the historic Birmingham waterways! Your host the Gintleman has been running fun-filled gin cruises for over five years and welcomes you aboard a new, delicious cruise adventure!
Take a 90-minute boat cruise along Birmingham's waterways and learn about five different categories of spirits. Your guide will provide you with a fun and engaging bite-sized insight into the history, production and tasting notes of each spirit style and learn about their extended families.
Each brand featured is matched with its perfect mixer and paired with a selection of nibbles to complement the experience.
The tour begins with a refreshing bubbles-based aperitif Spritz creation (after all Birmingham contains more canals the its classic Venetian counterpart). You’ll then taste a curated selection of four other base spirits from a rotating lineup.
Your tasting spirits will come from all over the world and you may try unique styles of rum, tequila, mezcal, bourbon, flavoured Moonshine, or boutique G&T. Your host may even throw a wildcard spirit into mix- that’s all part of your spiritual adventure!
Don't drink? The cruise allows for a zero per cent alternative variation based on whichever journey you explore, please specify no alcohol alternative when booking.

On the day
Please set out for the event in plenty of time to avoid any traffic issue. Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before departure, like a train timetable the boat has to leave promptly as to not spoil the experience for all our guests and as such we can’t then offer a non attendance refund even with travel circumstances beyond your control. The narrowboat cruise is moored by the footbridge that spans the ICC side over to Brindleyplace over the canal from Perios.
