Get hands-on with a chocolate-making workshop in Montpelier where you will be taken on an adventure into the Ecuadorian Amazon. You will get hands-on with the Amazon's finest fruit- CACAO. In this workshop, you'll roast, peel & grind raw cacao beans into cacao paste before melting and infusing it into a delicious smooth chocolate sauce to pour and taste. You will experience cacao like never before!
You'll be able to taste the cacao beans after you have roasted, ground and melted into a sauce. Your hot chocolate sauce will be served with ice cream and strawberries!
By joining this experience you will also be supporting the amazing work of the Bristol-based reforestation charity Yakum. Yakum supports indigenous communities to regenerate their native forests and embrace their traditional foods, medicine and culture.
You'll find out about Yakum's valuable work and you're welcome to engage in discussion and ask as many questions as you'd like whilst nibbling on some award-winning fine Ecuadorian chocolate from Paccari.
During this interactive workshop, a range of beverages will be available to purchase. Enjoy a perfectly paired red wine, espresso martini infused with cacao, or simply a hot chocolate or coffee (not to mention plenty of draught Asahi!).
