4 Week Ballroom Basics Course

Are you curious to learn or refresh a few ballroom dances such as waltz, quickstep and tango?

We're excited to offer our Ballroom Basics four week course at BDC studios on Tuesdays, starting from the 21st May. If you're planning a summer holiday or a cruise then a bit of ballroom knowledge can get you a long way on the dance floor! There will also be an opportunity to practice later in the summer in Bristol at our Equality Tea Dance in June.

What to expect:

  • Introduction to ballroom dances: waltz, quickstep and tango
  • Four-week course at BDC studios
  • Classes every Tuesday, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Ideal for those planning a summer holiday or cruise
  • Opportunity to practice at the Equality Tea Dance in June

Minimum fitness level required.

Age restrictions: 18+

Adult (This covers four sessions, total of 6 hours of tuition) £50

How to get there

On the day

  • The event is at BDC Studios, which is easy to access by public transport.
  • There is a free car park nearby. Wear smooth soled shoes (no trainers) and layers.
  • Bring a water bottle.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts so you are ready to dance at 7.30pm.

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 5 days before your experience.
Please note that this refund policy does not apply to gift bookings. You may reschedule your gift if outside the time period stated above. However, all gifts are non-refundable and expire exactly 1 year after the date of purchase.

Bristol Equality Dance

Bristol Equality Dance is a latin and ballroom dance project for LGBTQ+ people and their friends. We offer weekly classes for beginners and improvers, social dance events and trips to other cities and dance festivals. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to bring a partner.
