Every booking - regardless of when this takes place, will play a part in helping our local businesses to survive this challenging time and help them bounce back when we are able to visit them in person again.

You’ll start your morning at Ruby & White with a sausage sandwich from the barbecue and a tea or coffee. Then it’s time to roll your sleeves up and get to work making your own sausage mix, with the guidance of one of Ruby & White’s expert butchers. You’ll have a variety of herbs, spices and ingredients to pick, from traditional flavours to something experimental and unique. Once you’ve perfected your sausage mix, you’ll learn to fill and tie the sausages yourself, before taking home a very generous pack for supper.

Groups will be limited to 2 - 3 people to maintain social distancing. All food preparation areas will be sanitised and clean aprons provided.

Max is one of Ruby & White’s passionate butchers, making all of their much-loved sausages each week. His specialty is experimental flavours, colours and exciting combinations, lots of which he’ll share during your experience. As well as being passionate about all things butchery Max enjoys meeting fellow food enthusiasts and sharing his butchery skills.
Rob is the butchery manager at Ruby & White and has many years of experience butchering prime cuts and creating incredible flavours. He loves sharing his craftsmanship and is a foodie at heart, always on hand with a great recipe and the best wine to accompany it.
