What you'll do

"If one is to enjoy fine cider, then one must enjoy fine cider from a fine vessel" - a great philosopher once said.

Clearly they knew what they were talking about...

Whilst we're fond of reusable plastic cups and modern glassware, there's a lot to be said about the traditional cider cup. A wide-bottomed clay mug, perfect for washing down a glug of farmhouse cider, with handles for holding and tipping, or better still, sharing.

Come to the Cider Box Tap Room, and make your very own cider mug with the fabulous PottyMouth Workshop. You'll be guided through the process with the experts Naomi Stokes and Meredith Mason. Sample some of the most delicious ciders Bristol has to offer along the way. A free half pint is even included to wet your whistle!

In this three hour workshop, you'll spend time building and decorating your vessel. The potter's wheel might be brought out for anyone who wants a spin! By the end, you'll have made a mug proclaiming your love for the lovely stuff.

Your finished creation will be taken away to be kiln fired and glazed. Your final creation will be ready for collection 2-3 weeks later - a pint or two of cider is recommended of course! What a match made in heaven.
