Join me on a journey through the Chakra System, an important part of authentic Indian yoga, exploring their significance, emotional expression and the power they can have on our physical and subtle bodies.
The 7 Chakras are the main psycho-energetic energy centres of the body according to yogic philosophy that allow us to align with matter and the material world, with the mental and emotional world as well as with the subtle world of spirit. These subtle energy centres, when balance,d help to coordinate the flow of prana or vital energy through our body and maintain physical health and emotional well-being.
On this retreat, we will learn what the Chakras are and explore how they can help to support our well-being. Through yoga asana practice, pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra, we will work through all 7 seven chakras, helping us to feel balanced, centred and calm by the end of the day.
A delicious and nutritious light vegetarian lunch is included, followed by afternoon tea and homemade cake later in the afternoon.
