We’re sorry, this experience is not able to go ahead right now.
Due to the current lockdown measures, this experience is unable to take place between Thursday 4 November and Tuesday 2 December.
Every booking - regardless of when this takes place, will play a part in helping our local businesses to survive this challenging time and help them bounce back when we are able to visit them in person again.

This exciting, practical photography experience is designed for anyone curious to learn new photography techniques. With the help of your host, Iain, you'll discover how to use flash photography to shoot the highest speed water motion. After learning about the settings and techniques for high speed photography, you'll capture splash images that aren't visible to the human eye, getting an understanding of how off-camera flash can be used to freeze even the fastest motion.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll find that this type of photography is compelling and addictive as you set up new shots and experiment with shutter timing. Capture the exact moment a balloon full of water pops or a drop of water falls into a glass - all whilst using studio lighting to create unique background effects. You don't need any previous experience to get great results, all you need is an interest in photography. You can bring your own DSLR camera to learn on and a spare memory card, plus any other equipment you have, but all of the flash equipment id provided.
This is a studio based experience with adventure photographer, Iain, as your host. Iain will teach you the skills you need to recreate this type of photography yourself, with ideas for the next set up to experiment with.

This experience is held in the studio so groups are limited to a maximin of 4 people to provide space for social distancing.
