Imagine uniting being in nature with the practice of mindfulness meditation on a one-day retreat - welcome to Nature Mindspace Retreats! Spend the day outside in nature, healing your body and mind - return home feeling wholly refreshed and uplifted.

What to expect:

  • Guided sitting meditations

  • Mindful movement practices
  • A lovely group picnic
  • Walking along trails and ascending small hills
  • Exploring woodlands and surrounding nature

There will be four group sessions at various scenic locations throughout the day. Your group will use nature and your peaceful surroundings to guide you into the present moment. Your booking will include access to recordings of the guided meditations and teachings.

How to get there

Facilities

  • Outdoors

On the day

  • Meet at the town gate of Sutton Park ( 60 Park Rd, Sutton Coldfield B73 6BU) at 10 to start the day
  • Conclude at the same spot at 4.15 pm
  • Parking available. Five minute walk to the station
  • Please bring a small rucksack including:
  • Packed lunch
  • Flask with your hot drink/or bottle of water
  • Small cushion or small travel seat/stool
  • Mat (yoga style) or plastic sheet
  • Outdoor walking shoes
  • Sun Hat/ sunscreen
  • Small umbrella
  • Dress in layers to adjust to temperature

Adam Dacey has been practising meditation for twenty-seven years. A former Buddhist monk, he now teaches mindful meditation classes, courses, and retreat. He is the founder of Mindspace, Meditation in Schools, and more recently the Forest Hut.
