Knitting Masterclass: Swatching and Blocking

If you want to knit yourself the perfect jumper you'll need to get to grips with two of the most important parts of the process, not just the knitting itself.

Come along to this workshop led by your experienced hosts, knitwear designer Jacki from the Woolly Badger and yarn shop owner Meg from No Frills Knitting, to learn how swatching and blocking can completely transform your knits.

What to expect:

• Find out what swatching is and why it matters for fit
• Discover how to swatch flat and in the round
• Learn to measure your gauge from your swatch
• Find out what blocking is, how to do it
• Explore how to block different fibres

There'll be plenty of time for questions so you can guarantee you'll leave with the skills and knowledge needed to progress your knitting.
