Children’s Workshop | A Day Of Screen Printing

Treat your child to this lovely chance to get creative - they'll be joining Steph in her screen printing studio on Bristol's harbourside.

Screen printing is a creative process where you transfer a stencilled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. It's a super fun one to learn - your host, a screen printer and primary school teacher is excited to share this skill with others!

What to expect:

  • A creative workshop for children aged 7-12 years old
  • A hands-on introduction to the screen printing process and tools
  • Your child will create, design and screen-print their own t-shirt
  • Steph will give your child an introduction, demo and share plenty of inspiration from other artists before they get started
  • Children will work together in the morning - exploring different print techniques, creating prints on paper and fabric and producing stencils
  • After lunch, your child will learn how to mix colours and prepare their screen and print area, ready for action
  • With Steph's guidance it's time for your child to put their new knowledge to the test

Your child will finish the day with a t-shirt that they can wear and proudly say they have designed and printed it themselves!

Nice to know:

Steph is a fully qualified Primary School Teacher and DBS registered. Children are supervised at all times. Steph is happy for you to leave your child while the workshop is taking place. All materials are included.

Age restrictions: 7+

Child (Age 7 - 12 years old) £65
