Heal your mind, body and soul with this energising morning ritual that utilises indigenous and afro-based healing techniques.
Are you looking for a feel-good gentle workout to improve your wellbeing? Do you want to express your emotions through dance? Heal your body with movement? This experience isn't just a form of escapism, it's the perfect remedy that will set you up for the day and week.
Maybe you simply love moving your body or it needs a little pick-me-up - this should do the trick. Expressive dance is a therapeutic way to process our emotions, many of which we might struggle tapping into normally.
This powerful form of dance can help to reduce stress levels, alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression, and boost self-esteem. Your host Grace's unique combination of positive psychology, afro-based techniques and movement will introduce you to a different kind of dance class that will help you to let go.
What to expect:
This experience is about acknowledging your ego and embracing the person within. Grace's combination of body expression, conscious breathing, and the ancient wisdom of African dance steps will get you there. Her ‘5 steps, 3 rhythms’ method ensures this is suitable for all, so no previous experience is needed. Get ready to move into feeling uplifted.
Please note: The host requires a minimum of six participants to book (on the same date) for it to go ahead. You will be offered to attend on the next available workshop date, if less than six places have been sold. At the end of the experience there's a surprise gift from the host to get even more from your experience.
