Switching to a more sustainable wardrobe can feel daunting. Charity shops and thrift stores can be overwhelming. Finding your size is sometimes mission impossible. But not with Clothemod's help!

What to expect:

  • One-to-one personal styling from a sustainable fashion stylist
  • Sustainable fashion masterclass covering everything from spotting original vintage pieces to the best second-hand shops in Bristol
  • Fill out a questionnaire about your style and your dream second-hand outfit (this will be emailed to you upon booking)
  • Show up and be greeted by your one-of-a-kind outfit, curated just for you from 100% second-hand garments - get the chance to buy this outfit at a discounted price!
  • Group challenges including browsing The Vintage Thrift Store to find a dress for a certain event - you’ll learn you don’t need to go to ASOS for every occasion!
  • An introductory talk from Clothemod discussing the fashion industry and why she's helping others champion second-hand fashion
  • Sustainable fashion Q&A to finish
  • Free bubbly

There’s no pressure to purchase the outfit that’s been selected for you. This experience is about learning how to make your wardrobe second-hand. If you love the outfit enough to purchase it - that’s a bonus!

What you’ll learn:

  • How to find designer bargains in charity shops
  • Tips on where to shop in Bristol
  • How to find quality second-hand clothing
  • How to spot original vintage clothing (and what era it’s from)
  • How to tell the difference between synthetic and sustainable fabrics
  • How colour theory can be applied to styling

The venue:

This will be hosted in The Vintage Thrift Store on Park Street, where you will be able to browse their premium and vintage collections to find the perfect garms! The ticket includes styling services, complimentary bubbly and and exclusive after hours access to The Vintage Thrift Store’s collections.

Meg, or Clothemod, is a sustainable fashion stylist based in Bristol. She specialises in working with second hand fashion, and has a vast amount of knowledge on shopping vintage. In her styling experiences you will be able to have one-to-one styling support, and learn the tricks of the second hand shopping trade!
