Buskers’ Banquet combines the best of Bristol’s independent food and performing arts scene to create an amazing festival celebrating delicious flavours and incredible music.

What to expect:

• A unique evening showcasing the best of Bristol’s food and music scene
• Delicious, bespoke two-course meal from Bristol’s most impressive culinary talents
• Two live acoustic performances from Bristol-based musicians.

The chef will have the opportunity to create, share and discuss their specially-curated menu. The performers will be able to treat the audience to an intimate acoustic gig, giving guests a special insight into their world.

The menu:

• Main course
• Sushi platter served with miso soup
• Sushi board will contain: Raw trout nigiri, Blowtorched trout nigiri, Sea bass and orange kosho Nigiri, Tamago nigiri, Cucumber maki, Shiitake and sesame maki, Takwuan maki ,Mackerel Futomaki -Dessert: miso and ginger sticky toffee pudding with burnt apple and caramel

The Chef: Bushi Sushi

Bushi was set up in the second lockdown, after we took up making it for fun to pass the time. We are a couple (Joe and Mirai) of chefs that are now working towards opening an authentic Japanese sushi bar and izakaya in bristol. These events give us a chance to show a glimpse of what we aim to be doing. Along with our sushi delivery and collection orders, that we do weekly through our instagram account.

The Music:

Fall Arc - Fall Arc are a singer-songwriter duo based in Bristol. Combining guitar, piano & symbiotic vocal harmony, creating mesmerising musical moments. For fans of Fleetwood Mac, Simon & Garfunkel, Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan and Glen Hansard

Robi Mitch - Robi Mitch likes to stay ahead, penning songs at a prolific rate and flitting between genres at will. He played in several bands before launching his solo project in 2020 and continues to collaborate with musicians from across the UK and further afield. A fixture of the musical underground in Bristol for over a decade, Robi has toured in Asia, Europe and the USA, and is now based in Cornwall. His experiences as a session guitarist in Taipei lend a unique quality to his dreamy-yet-groovy sound.
