Bristol Crime, Mystery and Thriller Book Club

Welcome to Bristol's monthly book club for crime, mystery and thriller (and everything in between!). This monthly book club meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm at popular venues across Bristol. Where possible, light nibbles will be provided and £1 of each ticket sold will be donated to a Bristol-based charity. Please read the full details of this book club down below:

For May's book club, we will be reading and discussing The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson - A finalist for the National Book Award and considered one of the best literary ghost stories published during the 20th century, it has been made into two feature films and a play, and is the basis of a Netflix series. The chosen charity for the month is Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, more information about their great work can be found here: https://hollyhedge.org.uk/.

This is a friendly, informal and sociable book club, where there's no pressure to have finished the book by the meet up date.
