Knives Out at Averys Wine Merchants

What you'll do

DOORS: 18:45 | FILM STARTS 19:00

Vintage Screenings pair classic films with thematically linked wine tastings to create unique evenings in the stunning setting of Averys Wine Merchants’ historic wine cellar. Following a sparkling wine reception, the film will be accompanied by a tasting of four carefully selected wines courtesy of Averys’ resident experts.

March Vintage Screenings continue with the recent, wickedly entertaining whodunnit hit Knives Out. In true whodunnit fashion, we’re not going to tell you the wines in advance – one of them will be an ‘odd wine out’, and with a few tasting note clues along the way, it’s up to you to work out which wine it is!

Please note that Vintage Screenings are strictly for over-18s only

ABOUT THE FILM 2019 | 12A | 133 mins

About Bristol Film Festival

Bristol Film Festival was started by director Owen Franklin in 2015. The Festival provides an alternative experience for lovers of film and cinema, and celebrates the cultural landscape of his home city, Bristol.

The concept is simple: to bring classic films back to the big screen, in some of Bristol’s most iconic and interesting venues, including Bristol Museum, Clifton Observatory, Bristol Cathedral, and Redcliffe Caves.

The films and locations are carefully matched together, and involve unique immersive elements - whether it's live performers, tours of venues after hours, or themed wine tastings, you can expect to leave one of our events having had a film experience unlike any other!
