Join Bristol’s own Justin Quinnell, a world expert in experimental and pinhole photography (www.pinholephotography.org), for an Experimental Photography Workshop at Clifton Suspension Bridge. This hands-on, practical workshop will teach you about the fascinating world of experimental and alternative photographic processes as well as pinhole photography.
What to expect: - Hands-on workshop led by a world expert in experimental and pinhole photography. - Workshop take place Bristol's iconic landmark, the Clifton Suspension Bridge. - Discover experimental photographic processes such as - turmeric photography, camera obscuras, cyanotypes, solargraphy, DSLR pinhole, Chemigami-origrammes. - A variety of creative approaches using a pinhole camera. - Use of a darkroom to process your images. - Produce your own images throughout the day to take home and admire.
The workshop will begin with a short talk by Justin on his own creative practice followed by a full day of activities, including usage of a temporary darkroom. All participants will make many images throughout the day to take home with them.
