All about meat masterclass

What you'll do

Should we even be eating meat? Your host believes the answer's 'yes'. But it's a big subject which needs breaking down.

What's the best way to cook with meat, consume it mindfully and magic up some tasty recipes? Square Food Foundation will show you how...

Join this registered charity for a meat masterclass, where you'll learn about meat's different cuts, cooking methods and techniques, and how to make a little go a long way. All with mouthwatering results. This charity is on a mission to reduce hunger and bring people together by cooking delicious dishes. For this workshop, the spotlight's on something carnivores can really sink their teeth into...

A sample menu could include:

  • The perfect meat stock
  • Five meals from one chicken: a demonstration
  • Three beefy meals from one beef stew using shin, skirt, oxtail, vegetable and red wine
  • Veal Milanese
  • Delicious and incredibly cheap breast of lamb St Menehoulde

Your workshop will be run by a knowledgeable chef who will guide you throughout your culinary experience. All classes include tastings throughout and a meal. You are welcome to bring your own wine, beer or other drinks. All recipes cooked by you or demonstrated by your host will be emailed to you following the class.

All profits from Square Food masterclasses fund their community food education programme in local schools and the community.
