EmailDesign and create your own silver pendant with the help of Charlotte Anne Duckworth, the Bristol silversmith otherwise known as The Silver Duck. Charlotte has been teaching and hosting workshops since 2013.
In this half-day workshop experience, you will be guided through designing and making your very own silver pendant. Charlotte will have inspiration and examples of what you can achieve throughout the day.
You design your shape and can practice any textures on copper before beginning on your final piece. You will be introduced to techniques such as doming and forming to create a stunning and meaningful pendant to you.
In the process you'll discover how to solder on jump rings, how to anneal and pierce silver. You're more than welcome to come along with your own design ideas.
Book on for a one-on-one experience, or bring your friends and book up to 4 people for this jewellery making experience. At the end you'll finish with a bespoke, handmade pendant, which Charlotte will have a silver chain for you to wear it from.

This is a private experience and you'll have your own fully sanitised workspace. You can bring along a mask to wear if you'd like to
On the day
- Please make sure you are wearing closed toe, sturdy footwear and make sure your hair is tied back
- Please do not wear loose, floaty clothes (trousers are advisable) or long necklaces / rings / bracelets (wedding rings are fine, as are watches)
- Tea and coffee will be provided but bring along a packed lunch with you
- There is bike storage available, just let Charlotte know if you’d like to use it
- Google maps tends to take you further down the road than you need to go.
