What you'll do

What better way to start the week than a little bit of macrame?

We all deserve to begin our Mondays on a wholesome note, so why not treat ourselves every once and a while?

This macrame course will be held every Monday for you, or you and a friend. Master the basics of this relaxing craft with one inspiring host.

Working with macrame is a mindful way of crafting that sends you into a meditative state as you carefully create your knots and hone into the present. In our busy lives, we could all do with a little more macrame! This lovely craft doesn't just provide some escapism from life's hustle and bustle, it's a wonderful chance to create something beautiful in the process.

All the tools you need to make a plant hanger will be included in this experience. You'll be based at The Fabric House shop in Clifton's beautiful arcade and get your choice of free tea or coffee from the local coffee shop!

This is a great Christmas present for a loved one or a fun way to expand your creative skills. If you want to select two people, add the group ticket in the booking form. Are you ready to macrame?

About The Fabric House

The Fabric House is a family-run business. Originally from a small market town in Hampshire, this fabric and haberdashery shop has found its new home in Bristol.

Initially set up by mother Tracey, her love of interior design and ten years of experience managing shops was a winning combo. Tracey's husband Sean became heavily involved with the business, fitting blinds and curtains for customers. Everything took off from there.

Unfortunately, when the pandemic struck and the tragic loss of some very close family members, Tracey and Sean decided to leave Hampshire behind. But weren't quite ready to close The Fabric House's doors.

Their daughter Poppie, who studied costume and performance design at Bournemouth University, decided she'd love nothing more than adopting the business in her local village of Clifton. The Fabric House found its new Bristol home, along with a range of macrame workshops in Clifton's beautiful arcade.
