Fancy one wholesome evening learning the wonderful art of lino printing? Get guided by your host Kate, a talented artist and tutor. Use top quality resources and materials to create printwork you'll be proud of.
This workshop gives you all the skills and equipment you need for linocut printmaking. Kate is big on simple techniques which provide striking results. She'll break down this creative printing process step-by-step. From composing your design to cutting and printing your block, and using a fantastic 'Woodzilla' printing press for the best results.
This workshop is perfect for all levels and abilities, with no experience needed. All materials, tools, tea and coffee are included - just bring along yourself and the urge to try something new!

Whether you choose to keep your artwork and frame it or gift it to friends is entirely up to you. Hopefully, this will be just the start of your lino printing adventure, so there will be plenty more to go around!

A lovely relaxed evening of crafting
How to get here: Creative Space is on North St- next to Albatross Cafe and opposite Greville St. There is parking on the local roads - parking restrictions end at 5:30pm The Number 2 bus comes along North St. Up to two bikes can be stored inside with us.
What to wear: clothes that you don't mind getting a bit mucky.
What to bring: just yourself.... possibly some design inspiration if you know what you want to create
