What you'll do

Mindfulness is the art of being grounded and present. Which many of us will know is far easier said than done! With busy lives and constant distractions from our phones it's easy to become detached from the present. This experience is designed to realign that balance.

These workshops will help you upgrade your life, even if it's already good. Learn how to welcome the benefits of yoga and meditation into your life so you feel happier as you have more time, more calm, more LIFE and less rushing, less stress and less overthinking. Each workshop follows the same structure but with a different focus; we start by looking at HOW mindfulness can change your life in relation to a specific benefit, then dive into how to apply this in YOUR life using my 7-step plan for mindful living

Saturday 23rd July Less stress, more calm

Saturday 17th September Less thinking, more living

These are for you if:

  • Any shared equipment (bolsters, yoga mats to sit on) is disinfected between uses

On the day

  • Please arrive on time and bring:
  • A cushion to make yourself more comfortable (alternatively, yoga bolsters are provided)
  • A mug for tea (tea is provided)
  • A journal to write in, if you keep one regularly
  • The venue is the last unit on the left in Kestrel Court, with plenty of parking outside

About The Mindful Living Academy

Run by mindful coach Lucy, The Mindful Living Academy supports people that already love their life to make it even better. In her previous job as a veterinary surgeon, Lucy would meditate to help with stress but couldn't work out how to carry the feeling into her life all the time. After years of practise, she's reverse-engineered that process; in her workshops she'll walk you through her 7-step process that allows you to carry all the benefits of mindfulness into your day, all of the time. As a result, you'll feel more calm, more happy and more productive EVEN if you already love your life.
