What you'll do

DOORS: 19:00 | FILM STARTS 19:15

Join Bristol Film Festival for an evening of deliciously dark comedy and gorgeous local beer at this screening of In Bruges. The screening takes place in the atmospheric setting of the former fire station on Silver Street, where guests will enjoy a flight of four local beers from brewers Lost and Grounded to drink along with the movie. It’s an opportunity to experience this hilarious cult favourite on the big screen with quality beer to accompany it!

Lost and Grounded Brewers is a Bristol-based brewery established in July 2016. They are particularly fascinated by the precision of German brewing and the idiosyncratic nature of Belgian beers, Which makes them the perfect fit for this Belgian-based crime caper! All of their beers are unfiltered and vegan friendly.

Please note that this event is strictly for over-18s only

About Bristol Film Festival

Bristol Film Festival was started by director Owen Franklin in 2015. The Festival provides an alternative experience for lovers of film and cinema, and celebrates the cultural landscape of his home city, Bristol.

The concept is simple: to bring classic films back to the big screen, in some of Bristol’s most iconic and interesting venues, including Bristol Museum, Clifton Observatory, Bristol Cathedral, and Redcliffe Caves.

The films and locations are carefully matched together, and involve unique immersive elements - whether it's live performers, tours of venues after hours, or themed wine tastings, you can expect to leave one of our events having had a film experience unlike any other!
