Josh first fell in love with drumming at a workshop when he was 14; he went away and bought his first djembe straight after. When he saw how much joy the workshop leader was giving the group, he said to himself, 'I wanna be that guy, jumping round in the middle and guiding people to create this infectious magic'.
Since then, Josh has attended training with the world-renowned pioneer of drum circle facilitation Arthur Hull, and has been building up his client- and experience-base ever since.
As a performer, Josh has done it all: concerts, carnivals, processions, street performances, circus shows, musical productions and dance festivals.
Josh loves his job because of the primal energy, inclusivity for people of all ages and experiences, and seeing that moment on people's faces where they hit the level of joy he experienced all those years ago as a teenage participant. The buzz of finishing a session where everyone is on the same invigorated high is second to none and he's privileged to be able to share this experience with others!
