Make your own soy dessert candles
What you'll do
This four-hour workshop is a fantastic introduction to the creative craft of detailed soy wax candle design.
In the workshop, which takes place at your host Kristal’s home, she will use her expertise in creative candle design to help you create beautiful candles that could easily be mistaken for tasty cakes and desserts!
You’ll start the workshop by designing your candle and selecting the scents, colour and moulds you’d like to use. Then you start melting! All equipment and supplies are provided for you and you’ll discover how to use these to melt, whip and blend the wax to create your soy pillar cake candle. You’ll spend time decorating and throughout the day will pick up pro tips and techniques for perfectly executed candles. You’ll also make some adorable coloured macaron tea lights.
Your candles will be ready for you to take home on the day, wrapped in pretty Fatelier packaging. These candles would make the perfect gift but you might just love them too much to part with them!

About Fatelier
Fatelier is a unique candle workshop based in central Bristol. It was created by Kristal so she could share her love of candle making and provide wholesome experiences to everyone interested in the craft. Fatelier is a relaxed space where anyone can come to make a candle for any occasion.
Kristal uses lots of interesting candle techniques to create her beautiful candles, including baking candles, iced candles, marble effect candles and painted candles. She is passionate about using soy wax as not only does it burn clean and slow but the scent throw is superior to other wax types. Her pillar candles are always made of high-quality soy wax blends to ensure quality and safety.

Born and raised in Bristol, she loves our city and is very keen to connect people through her love of candle making. Her goal is to share her experience and knowledge to make her candle making experiences simple and stress-free. Kristal finds candle making immensely satisfying and hopes you will do too!
