Autumn in Italy cooking masterclass

What you'll do

Join Square Food Foundation for a cooking masterclass that will transport you from one grey winter's afternoon to a golden Italian evening.

This charity is on a mission to reduce hunger and bring people together by cooking delicious food. For this masterclass, the spotlight's on Italy...

Italian cooking, whatever the season, never fails to bring inspiration and comfort to any cook. In this experience, Square Food's chef will show you how to recreate authentic Italian dishes using seasonal produce and simple (yet essential!) techniques. As you learn more about Italian cuisine, how to respect its ingredients, and taste your seasonal plates, you'll feel like you're on holiday.

A sample menu could include:

  • Antipasti selection
  • Pumpkin ravioli with sage butter
  • Sauteed Italian winter greens with borlotti beans
  • Panna cotta with poached figs and red wine

All experiences include tastings throughout and a meal. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, beer, or other drinks. All recipes either cooked by yourself or demonstrated by your host will be emailed to you following the class. With these, you'll be able to transport yourself back to Italy from your own kitchen!

Square Food is a registered charity. All profits from Square Food masterclasses fund their community food education programme in local schools and the community.
