Balance your body: structural integration

What you'll do

When was the last time you felt good in your body? Like REALLY good in your body? (Don't worry, there's no judgement here!)

What changed? Did life get in the way? Work, family or simply neglecting your own best asset? If you haven't already guessed it - YOU are your own best asset and the best project you will ever work on.

Your body is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind creation. Over time it will adapt to the environments that you immerse yourself into. Whether that's sitting at a desk, being a super parent, or doing relentless physical work. You are what you repeatedly do and that forms patterns in your body.

These patterns might be a neck ache, backache, shoulder ache, knee ache, and so on. (Sounding familiar?) Your body is built for life and shouldn't have to work THAT hard for everyday tasks. When that happens you are out of balance. You can feel a bit 'wonky'.

This is where structural integration (also known as rolfing) comes in. It's hands-on bodywork that gives space back to the connective tissue in the body, so you can move in the way that your body is designed. There are movement coaching elements both inside and outside of the session to maintain your body functioning in the way it's designed to. After all, structure equals function. You take care of your structure and it will take care of you.

Simply put...if you could wave a magic wand, how would you like to feel in your body?

Your host will work towards getting you there.

There are no promises that you can be 'fixed', as you are not 'broken'. What is said with confidence, is that you will feel more connected, balanced and ready to meet the demands of your day. You will be supported physically and with a tailored aftercare model to suit your needs.

These workshops are part of a 10-session process to work towards your intentions. It could be something as simple as relaxation, to ease pain and stress, or to have some time to yourself. Whatever it may be, you will find it here.

This is a journey to explore your full potential in an open space, free from judgment, where you can get the chance to reconnect with yourself.
